DeVance Trade Rumors Untrue – Tim Cone

DeVance Trade Rumors Untrue – Tim Cone
Manila, Philippines – After rumors came out that two PBA teams were reportedly in the middle of negotiating for a trade of certain stars, Alaska coach Tim Cone bared that they are all untrue.

In an interview with Mr. Snow Badua, Alaska Aces coach Tim Cone bared that he is unaware of such trade rumors and that Joe DeVance is not in the market.

A possible trade between DeVance and Petron’s Arwind Santos initially came out, igniting speculations that the two superstars may soon don new uniforms. However, Cone put a stop to all of it despite reports that DeVance is said to be unhappy with his contract with the Aces and is looking to be traded.

And to put a halt to all of it, Cone likewise assured that DeVance will still be donning the Alaska Aces uniform come next conference. He also made it clear that it is he who usually makes the conversation and not just the Alaska management.

NOTES: Former NBA star Allen Iverson has reportedly shown interest to play in the PBA. Some teams have inquired about his services but the problem is he is too expensive and that he only wants to play a certain number of minutes per game…It is a three-way race for the PBA Commissioner’s Cup Best Player of the Conference. Jimmy Alapag and Kelly Williams of Talk ‘n Text and Mark Caguioa of Barangay Ginebra are vying for the honor which will be known prior to the start of the PBA Finals game 4 this Wednesday…Also, Paul Harris of Talk ‘n Text seems to have the inside track for the Best Import award at the rate he is playing.
